We Empower.
Gault Parent-Teacher Organization (GPTO) is a roll-up-the-sleeves team of families, teachers and staff striving to make a positive impact on the school community by engaging and empowering families.
Our Mission
The mission of the GPTO is to support students, staff, and the community by promoting communication throughout the school, conducting fundraisers, and coordinating the social events that enrich all students’ experiences at Gault. The GPTO strives to provide Gault with programs, services, and campus improvements to enhance the educational experience for all students.
Your Support Makes all the Difference. When families, school staff, and the community work together, students have the best chances to succeed in their academic and social education. The GPTO invites you to lean into Gault to make a positive impact on the quality of life and education for all students. Help us make the school year a great one!
Get Involved: There’s many different ways you can support Gault! GPTO values meeting families where they are and encourages to connect with us in whatever way works best for them.
Join in.
Gault Elementary School hosts a number of touchstone fundraising and family engagement events throughout the school year. We hold GPTO Meetings, English Language Advisory Committee (ELAC) Parent Meetings, and Cafecitos Morning Meetings. We also participate in the district wide, Drive-For-Schools, and our annual ‘I Love Gault’ Pledge Drive.
312
Students
Gault Elementary is a small but mighty school. Currently we have 312 enrolled students who benefit from the funds raised annually by the GPTO. These funds go toward enrichment activities, as well as critical supplemental supplies for our classrooms.
95
years
Founded in 1928 to serve the educational needs of the Seabright neighborhoods, Gault Elementary has been a community school in service for 96 years. Today, Gault Elementary is known for being the most diverse, tight-knit and compassionate community. We are the beating heart of Midtown.
10%
of the funding
Despite Gault's tight-knit family, our community is only able to raise approximately 10% of the funds some of our neighbor schools bring in every year. This is why we actively seek creative community participation and work together to make up the gaps.
